Development Contribution Plans

A development contribution plan:

  • sets out what infrastructure is required for future communities
  • allows council’s to collect contributions to fund the required infrastructure
  • ensures the cost of infrastructure is shared by requiring any person developing land, to pay the applicable levy to council

Latrobe City Council currently has three approved Development Contribution Plans (DCP’s):

Annual indexation

The development contribution schedule table (of each DCP) is updated each year on 1 July with increases in Building Price Index and land valuations

Lake Narracan Development Contribution Plan – Moe/ Newborough

  • Development Infrastructure Levy per hectare: $208,895
  • Community Infrastructure Levy per dwelling: $1,043

Morwell North West Development Contribution Plan

  • Development Infrastructure Levy per hectare: $140,072.58

Traralgon North Development Contribution Plan

for 1 July 2021

for 1 July 2021

  • Development Infrastructure Levy per hectare: $192,432.89
  • Community Infrastructure Levy per dwelling $900
