Kindergarten Open Days 

We are hosting open days at all Latrobe City preschools on Tuesday, 7 May between 3.00pm and 5.30pm. If you cannot attend our open day and would like to view a preschool at another time please explore the virtual open days below or contact our team at fsadmin@latrobe.vic.gov.au  to make alternative arrangements.

2024 Enrolments

Kinder registration for 2024 three year old and four year old kinder are still being accepted and will be offered in order of receipt where places remain available. Three year old kinder is 5 hours, one day per week.  Four year old kinder is 15 hours per week. You can still apply for kinder for the remainder of 2024, please email fsadmin@latrobe.vic.gov.au  to arrange to have the registration link emailed to you. Benefits

Kindergarten programs are delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher. They are designed to improve your child’s development in:

  • social skills, like how to play with other children in a calm, sharing and rewarding way
  • self-awareness and respect for others
  • emotional skills, for example understanding their feelings
  • language, literacy and numeracy skills, such as reading stories and counting objects
