Have Your Say on Traralgon Youth Activity Precinct Draft Concept Design Report

The Traralgon Youth Activity Precinct Draft Concept Design Report is available for public consultation

The Draft Concept Design Report investigates the feasibility of creating a district to regional level youth precinct and the most suitable location for it within Traralgon. The chosen site will be key to the strategic objectives for the facility and look to eradicate some of the existing antisocial behavioural issues currently associated with the location of the existing skate facility.

the two identified sites to be shortlisted are:

  • Agnes Brereton Reserve
  • Kay Street Gardens

Both sites will be explored at a concept level to see which is the best suited to developing a facility that will create a dynamic and activated central community hub, offering recreational and social experiences to all members of the community.

Community Consultation Postponed

Due to the COVID19 pandemic declaration, Latrobe City Council will unfortunately be postponing the community engagement and public exhibition activities associated with the Traralgon Youth Activity Precinct Draft Concept Design Report.

Latrobe City Council apologises for the postponement, however at this time our focus needs to be on the wellbeing of our community and staff.

This projects will be publically exhibited at a later date, yet to be determined. This exhibition period will include an opportunity for the community and stakeholders to attend one on one meetings with Latrobe City Council.
