The Honey Sliders Play Neil Young’s album ‘Harvest’

Neil Young’s classic album ‘Harvest’ hardly needs an introduction.

Featuring his unique blend of burnished country-folk, and raw rock n roll, ‘Harvest’ is full of timeless songs like ‘Heart of Gold’, ‘Old Man’, ‘Needle and the Damage Done', ‘Alabama’, and more.

It’s incredible to think that Neil was only 26 years old when the album was released. Even the album cover itself conjures the halcyon days of the classic rock era – that famous cursive font scrawled over the aged cardboard sleeve – everything about ‘Harvest’ is effortlessly perfect.

The Honey Sliders will perform ‘Harvest’ in its entirety, plus a long second set of their favourite Neil Young tunes in front of a huge screen, displaying visuals that will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to 1972! The Honey Sliders are Danny Widdicombe (guitar, vocals), Bos Borley (bass, visuals), Dan Mansfield (keys, guitar, vocals), and Ben Carstens (drums, vocals).

For this show, they’ve enlisted the help of Dana Gehrman (harmonica, vocals), Michel Rose (pedal steel), and Luke ‘Fiddleboy’ Moller (fiddle, mandolin, banjo, vocals), plus a special appearance from the band’s roadie Ben Mallon. This is a show not to be missed... one of the world’s favourite albums, played by a band of musicians who are passionate about paying homage to this music that changed their lives.

Daniel Champagne

One of the world’s most dynamic guitar and vocal shows is coming to town!

“The finest guitar player of this generation.” – The Calgary Herald, Canada

“The future of folk.” – The Firefly Column, USA

“A generational talent.” – Roots Magazine, UK

“Do whatever it takes to get in the front row!” – Rhythms Magazine, Australia

Don’t miss your chance to see live music at its finest!

Daniel Champagne lives and breathes music. Playing upwards of 250 concerts around the world each year, he is as loved globally as he isin his homeland of Australia. His signature guitar style and formidable stage show have garnered accolades and dedicated fans worldwide.

Growing up in the Bega Valley on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, the story goes that the young artist first picked up his instrument of choice at age five, following in the footsteps of his musical father. He began writing songs at twelve, trained classically throughout his teens, and performed wherever he could — honing his craft and developing the electric live show that he is renowned for today. At eighteen, he finished school, turned professional, and hit the road without looking back.

The following eighteen years have seen him release seven studio albums, sell out concerts across the globe, play some of the biggest festivals under the sun, and share stages with the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, INXS, John Butler, Lucinda Williams, Ani DiFranco, Judy Collins, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.

Expect jaw-dropping guitar skills, songs that carry the heart away, and the stories of a troubadour that will stay with you long after the last note rings out — a Daniel Champagne show is not just a concert, it’s an experience.
