Latrobe City hosts an annual Volunteer Expo for community groups to promote their volunteering opportunities during National Volunteer Week in May. The event provides an opportunity for community groups to connect with community members who are eager to learn about a variety of volunteering opportunities and who are wanting to make a difference in their community.

Latrobe City has a partnership with Grant Guru to provide a FREE 'Latrobe City Grant Finder' platform.

The platform provides a thorough list of grant and funding opportunities available to local business', community groups, not for profits and individuals. 

Through creating an account via Latrobe City's Website, community members can carry out unlimited searches, tailor their search preferences as well as elect to receive notifications of relevant grant opportunities as they open.

Does your community group need assistance to organise a community event?

Latrobe City’s Events Team are available to help you:

• Plan your event
• Provide contacts for local businesses, activities and entertainment
• Complete relevant permit documents
• Assist with local promotion
• Loan limited event equipment
