Untold Latrobe

Share significant history stories of Traralgon and invite you to share your personal stories that connect you to Latrobe.

Latrobe City Council is excited to launch ‘Untold Latrobe’, a project to connect us to the place we live and build community pride through inclusive and place-based representation and storytelling.

We invite you to share the stories that connect you to Latrobe, to be captured on markers that will be part of a colourful chain around Traralgon.

What stories do you need?

You don't have to write a long piece, just share a small moment in time that means something special to you.

We're really looking forward to hearing your histories and posting the story markers around the town, to draw people in so they too can learn, reminisce and share.

Who's it for?

Everyone! But we especially want to empower marginalised communities to claim space so LGBTQIA+, Disability, Young People, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Older People – your voices and stories are important!

We take access and inclusion seriously. We are committed to making every event as accessible and inclusive as possible for all members of our community. If you have a specific access request, would like further information or want to provide any suggestions, we would love to hear from you.
