Traralgon Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds Master Plan

The ‘Traralgon Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds Master Plan’ intends to provide clear direction for future planning, provision and enhancement of

sport and community infrastructure at the Traralgon Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds.

The Master Plan was initially drafted in 2015, before being updated in 2020 and again following the June 2021 flood event.

All community and stakeholder consultation feedback received during this time has led to the current draft of which Council is now seeking community feedback.

What does the Master Plan do?

The DRAFT ‘Traralgon Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds Master Plan’ provides a concept plan, as well as a prioritised opportunistic approach to

making the overall vision a reality.

Master Plans are used to ensure places are strategically planned with the input of the community and provide a clear direction for the future development of a place.

It is important to note that the opportunistic steps or priorities identified in this Master Plan are not currently planned or budgeted for by Council and therefore do not have a set delivery time frame.
