Latrobe City Council invites expressions of interest from local performance, arts, cultural and community organisations interested in establishing a residency at Moe Town Hall.
This is a residency arrangement, not an exclusive lease. Council will continue to use the venue for its own programming and will continue to accept community bookings. A resident organisation will receive regular access to the hall on an agreed schedule and, in return, will deliver ongoing activity and community outcomes that contribute to the activation of the venue.
Council welcomes applications from volunteer-run community organisations as well as larger organisations. The EOI process is intended to be straightforward and proportionate. Applicants are encouraged to provide concise responses that clearly explain their proposal rather than preparing lengthy or highly technical submissions.
Site Visit
Interested organisations are welcome to attend a site visit to walk through Moe Town Hall before applying. Date and time to be confirmed. Contact Nancy Milligan to register interest.
| EOI opens: | Monday 31 August 2026 |

About Moe Town Hall and the Opportunity
Moe Town Hall is a Council-owned civic and cultural venue in the centre of Moe. The venue includes:
- Main hall
- Stage
- Basic backstage facilities
- Kitchen
- Salto access control infrastructure
Current use includes community theatre rehearsals, community group hire and occasional events.
Council is seeking a residency partner that can help increase activity at the venue while supporting its ongoing role as a community asset. The residency should complement Council programming and maintain opportunities for community access and hire.
