Since 1996, Rotary have organised Give a Damn Give a Can.

Annually, their appeal calls on schools, sports clubs, aged care facilities, local businesses, community groups, and the public - through our Red Bin collection sites - to donate cans of food to the St Vincent de Paul Society's local food bank.

Through our volunteer service and the help of all our donors, we have collected more than 200,000 cans over the years. In any single year, our target is 10,000 cans.

Donations can be dropped at Bunnings, Coles, Henry St Cellars, Mayfair Gardens and Woolworths. 

All tinned food will be distributed by Vinnies during the winter.

Look out for the red bin in your neighbourhood.
