Basketball Victoria is excited to announce the  upcoming 2023, Under-16 and Under-18, Division 3, 4 and 5.

The event will be held across the Latrobe City on the 18-19 March 2023.

Junior Country Championships Manager Matt Royal is excited to see the growth at this event.

“95 teams from 39 associations have nominated for our division 3, 4 and 5 event, which is a significant increase of 11 teams from 2022.” Royal said.

“It is incredible to see the number of teams back on court from our country associations, considering the Covid interruption over the past two years and the impact it has had on so many associations. The teams attending this event in 2023 have been able to participate at local country tournaments this season, which was a little hit and miss the past 2 years, so I am expecting the level of talent and skill on show will be great to witness."

Last year saw this event livestreamed for the first time in its history to over 4,000 viewers and we are anticipating this will grow, as two courts are scheduled to be livestream at this year's event.

We cannot wait to bring this event to Latrobe City in March and see all the action unfold.
