Emergency Relief Network of Latrobe City

The Emergency Relief Network of Latrobe City (ERNLaC) has been in operation since 2008. Network members provide short term help to Latrobe City residents who are experiencing financial crisis.

Assistance may be provided in the form of food, accommodation, travel, pharmaceuticals, utilities, clothing, furniture items and household goods.

Information about emergency relief service providers in Latrobe City is included in the Emergency Relief and Client Support Services within Latrobe City brochure.

Emergency Relief providers please be aware:

As of  1 January 2026 , Latrobe City Council has updated its emergency relief brochure to better reflect its commitment to providing clear and effective emergency relief assistance to community members in need.

In order to reduce confusion and manage limited page space for expanding emergency relief services within our area, some difficult decisions have been made. Moving forward, the brochure will primarily feature organisations whose primary or sole focus is providing emergency relief services.

We regret we will not be able to feature emergency relief providers that provide occasional support. For these groups we recommend establishing a partnership with an organisation dedicated to emergency relief to ensure support is directed where it is most needed. Such collaboration can enhance service delivery for the community and help minimise confusion and extra travel by consolidating and centralising resources, providing a more streamlined and accessible way for individuals to obtain the assistance they require.

We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.
