Public Art Artist Register

Brief

Latrobe City Council have several public art mural projects currently being planned for delivery by end of June 2026.

To be eligible to apply for the projects once they are released, artists will need to respond to this expression of interest process first. Only artists who are on our artist register will be contacted to apply for the projects.

Project Details & Timeline

There will be several sites selected for murals. We are only seeking mural artists at this stage for these upcoming projects.

Projects will be released early February and applications will be due by the end of February.

Projects will be sent to artists on the register via email.

Successful applicants will have until the end of June 2026 to complete their projects.

Eligible Artists

To be Eligible to register:

  • Artist/s must reside in Gippsland, preferably within Latrobe City
  • Must be an established artist who has successfully delivered public murals
  • Must have current Public Liability Insurance up to $20,000,000

Privacy

All personal details obtained via this EOI process will be protected under Latrobe City Councils Privacy Policy which is governed by the Data Protection Act 2014.

  • Completed EOI Form
  • A copy of your artistic CV
  • Examples of previous mural projects
  • A copy of your current Public Liability Insurance certificate
