Asbestos Information Sessions

Follow Your Waste Education Tours

Half-day tours to a landfill, transfer station and materials recovery facility or commercial composting operation are available to schools and community groups from 1 September to 31 May. Download the Follow Your Waste flyer.(PDF, 232KB)

Worm Farms

Advice and support is available for establishing worm farms (vermicomposting) that meet the needs of schools and businesses producing large volumes of organic waste. 

Waste Audits

Assistance is available to perform waste audits which provide baseline information for schools and businesses initiating sustainability programs. 

Storm Water Education

Tours are available for secondary school students to observe connections between water in the built environment and creeks and waterways, including an inspection of a gross pollutant trap. 

Bushland Education Tours

Led by volunteers, tours of two different urban bushland reserves are available to school and community groups by arrangement with Reserve Committees of Management.
