Council officers have developed the draft Transparency Policy, based on working groups with other Gippsland and Victorian councils and a suggested template document provided by Local Government Victoria.
The draft Transparency Policy is set out with details of how Council will apply the principles including decision making at Council Meetings, public notices, information on Councils website, information available on request, social media and publications.
The draft Transparency Policy specifically lists documents Council will make publicly available either proactively or by request.
