A reunion lunch for present and former band members, followed by a 2:30pm concert for the general public. 12th November 2022.



On the 18th of November 1922 the Latrobe Community Concert Band (then known as the East Camp Band) had its first performance, greeting guests to the Yallourn Gymkhana. 100 years later, our band is still going strong, providing the community a musical ensemble to play at events, and a band that welcomes participation of players of all abilities, ages, and walks of life. To celebrate this milestone, the Band is hosting a day of celebration on the 12th November. We are inviting all former band members and their family to partake in lunch, with a concert in the afternoon at 2:30pm for the general public. This will be a great community event.

Throughout the years, the Band has welcomed many members, with many talented former players, who will be welcomed to attend the reunion lunch, perform a piece on their own (solo/small groups) as well as join the Band for a bracket of songs at the end of the concert.

This event will celebrate the Band in its current form, as well as a celebration of its proud history.
