
Ride to GP- CANCELLED
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation regrets to inform that due to the expected severe weather conditions forecast for Thursday 13 October, the 2022 Barry Sheene Tribute Ride has been cancelled.
The safety and well being of riders and our staff is of paramount importance, and this decision has been undertaken in consultation with Victoria Police and other traffic and emergency services organisations, to ensure the safety of all involved in this event.
We recognise the importance of the return of this wonderful annual event after a hiatus and we have not made this decision lightly. Whilst we are disappointed, the safety of all involved must take priority. Full refunds will be automatically provided to all registered participants.

Latrobe City Council is hosting the lunch stop for the annual Barry Sheene Tribute Ride to the Phillip Island Grand Prix event, marking its 18th anniversary ahead of the Animoca Brands Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2022.
The Morwell stopover will see the motorcycle ride arrive at the Morwell Recreation Reserve (under police escort) via Travers Street at approximately 10:00am, with their lunch being catered for by the Lions Club of Churchill, the riders will depart the Reserve at 11:00am.
The Morwell Recreation Reserve gates will be closed to provide a safe site for the ride, with spectators traffic diverted via McLean Street.
