Latrobe City Council is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and passionate individuals to join its Economic Development Advisory Committee.

This Committee plays an important advisory role by providing strategic insight, industry intelligence and informed guidance to support Council’s economic development objectives and decision-making.

About the Committee

The Economic Development Advisory Committee reports to Council and provides advice, information and feedback on matters relevant to economic growth and development across Latrobe City.

The Committee is advisory in nature and does not have delegated decision-making authority.

I confirm that I am eligible for the Committee and that I am over 18 years of age
I am willing to comply with the Conflict of Interest provisions in the Local Government Act 2020 and the procedures for disclosure of a conflict of interest set out in the Governance Rules of Latrobe City Council.
If successful, I can commit to a two-year term on the Committee.

Committee members will consist of up to eight representatives from industry sectors identified as core economic strengths in Latrobe City. Those sectors are identified as, but not limited to the following:

  • Existing and New Energy;
  • Defence Capability;
  • Advanced Manufacturing;
  • Food and Fibre;
  • Civil and Commercial Development;
  • Advanced Air Mobility;
  • Circular Economy
  • Other (please provide further information)
