Bram Presser is a semi-reformed punk rocker, recovering academic, occasional criminal lawyer and two-time cartoon character. His debut novel, The Book of Dirt was published to wide acclaim and went on to win three prizes at the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards - Fiction, Best New Writer and People’s Choice Award - as well as the 2018 Voss Literary Prize. Most recently, it won the Goldberg Prize for Debut Fiction at the National Jewish Book Awards in America.
