Amendment C150 – Traralgon Golf Club Rezoning

The Amendment proposes to apply a Special Use Zone – Schedule 9 (SUZ9) to 280A and 280B Princes Street, Traralgon (Traralgon Golf Club) and an Environmental Audit Overlay (EAO) to part of the Golf Club. The proposed amendment will support the long-term sustainability of the Traralgon Golf Club and the overall economic output for the community.

The Amendment applies to 280A and 280B Princes Street, Traralgon. (see figure 1 below)

What does Amendment C150 do?

The amendment:

  • Make changes to the Latrobe Planning Scheme by changing the use of the land from ‘Future Residential’ to ‘Open Space’;
  • Change the current Rural Living Zone Schedule 1 to a Special Use Zone Schedule 9; and
  • Applies an Environmental Audit Overlay to part of the land where an aboveground storage tank is located.  

Current Stage: Post Exhibition

Public Exhibition of the amendment took place between 22 January 2026 and 23 February 2026 resulting in a total of two written submissions received.

All submissions received, as well as a response to each submission, will be presented to Council for their consideration at the 27 April 2026 Council Meeting.
