21 November 2025 update

Yesterday afternoon, Council’s contractor returned to site closing the road to allow interim rectification works to be undertaken, followed by permanent seal repairs. The road was fully asphalted overnight.

Latrobe City Council is pleased to confirm that the works were successfully completed, and Post Office Place was reopened to traffic this morning. Line marking will be completed in the coming days.

Council continues to work with the contractor regarding the claims process for motorists whose vehicles were impacted by yesterday’s conditions. Those who have not yet contacted Council are encouraged to do so. Council will work closely with the contractor to ensure all affected individuals are appropriately assisted.
