Moe Joe Tabuteau Named after Joe Tabuteau who was a Moe resident known for his outstanding civic contribution. He was a Moe City Councillor from 1966 to 1980, Mayor in 1973-1974 and again in 1978 - 1979.  

He made a remarkable contribution to the Moe Fire Brigade, being an active member for 38 ½ years and served as secretary for 32 years. He was also a member of the Moe Waterworks Trust for over 20 years. President of Moe Football Club 1949 - 1951. Often referred to as ‘Mr Moe’

Named after Frederick E. Greenwood, the first head master of the Moe High Sschool.

The park was an open recreation area at the front of Moe High School. When the school was amalgamated with the other two secondary schools (Yallourn and Newborough) to form Lowanna College in 1994, the school site was sold for residential development, the park area was reserved for recreation space. 

Council sought a range of ideas for naming the Park and eventually settled on Greenwood Park. 

Named after Ted Summerton, a Moe City Councillor 1964 - 1973, 1978 - 1988. 

Mayor 1970 - 1971, 1981 - 1982, 1986 - 1987. 

Member of the Moe Football Club who served as president in 1972 and 6 years as secretary between 1951 and 1961. Treasurer 1956 & 1957. Supported a range of Moe organisations. Died 1988. 

Named after Sir John Monash, Australia’s famous World War One General and State Electricity Commissioner.
