There are many ways to support local businesses who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As consumers, we have a genuine opportunity to help sustain businesses who continue to trade, even in reduced or different capacities, as well as those who have been forced to close their doors but hope to reopen when restrictions are lifted.
By focusing our efforts on spending local during these challenging times we have the chance to build a strong sense of community and contribute to a resilient economy – one that is ready to bounce back when the time is right.
Together we can support local businesses by asking some simple questions:
- Ask your favourite restaurant if it delivers
- Ask your PT for an online session
- Ask your favourite café if it is doing takeaway
- Ask your local supermarket if it can deliver your groceries
In fact there are hundreds of Latrobe City businesses delivering right to your door. All you have to do is ask.
Council is encouraging all residents to do their part in supporting local businesses wherever possible over the coming months.
If your business has adapted its products or service model over past weeks, we can help you communicate this through a new Latrobe City business directory. By completing an online form, local businesses will be added to a database and listed below.
This campaign is open to any business in Latrobe City, regardless of the industry.
Please note it may take up to 24-48 hours for your business to be added to the database due to the number of registrations we are receiving.
Our Business Development team is also here to support and help. For more information, contact 1300 367 700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
