Cr Rob Moffatt is a long-time Morwell resident who is passionate about building a safe, vibrant and connected community for current and future generations.

Cr Moffatt has called Latrobe City home for many years. He enjoys spending time with his family and, after many years playing baseball and cricket in Morwell, now enjoys four-wheel driving and camping.

His career has included working in the timber industry, operating his own small business across Gippsland and, more recently, working as a Logistics Manager.

A strong believer in community involvement, Cr Moffatt has dedicated many years to local sport through volunteer coaching roles with junior cricket and baseball in Morwell. He also served as president of the Morwell Baseball Club for six years.

Cr Moffatt is passionate about community safety, creating opportunities for young people and supporting a thriving local economy. He values the strong friendships and country lifestyle that make Latrobe City a great place to live. During his Council term, he hopes to see continued renewal of the Morwell CBD, increased business investment and a welcoming, safe environment for residents and visitors alike.

His focus as a councillor is listening to the community, representing local priorities and helping shape a positive future for Latrobe City.
