The Latrobe City Sporting Hall of Fame was established in 2006. It celebrates our local sporting history and venues and recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to their chosen sport.
Legends are athletes who have achieved sporting excellence by competing at the highest level of their chosen sport. They have either achieved success at a national level or were selected to a national team and competed in international or Olympic competition.
Members have made a significant contribution their chosen sport. They may be officials and referees, coaches and trainers, sport medicine or sports psychology, administrators or have taken on other roles involved in sport at the elite level.
We open nominations every four years, coinciding with the Commonwealth Games. You can nominate members of the community for inclusion if they meet the 10 point selection criteria.
Nominations will open 1 September 2018 for the next group of inductees.
Individuals were last inducted into the hall of fame in 2015.
