During 2025/26, there were 10 Scheduled Council Meetings and 2 Unscheduled Meetings held. The current Council was elected October 2024 and will serve for the 2024 - 2028 Council Term.

Councillor Committee Membership  

Latrobe City Councillors participate on a range of committees that have different purposes and functions. Committees play a significant role in supporting decision-making and strengthening community involvement through the management and maintenance of community and Council assets.

They also provide an opportunity for community members and organisations to contribute to specific projects, topics, Council plan development through providing information, advice and feedback.

Contracts Entered into Above the Threshold Where a Public Tender Process Occurred

Latrobe City Council must adhere to the Local Government Act 2020, in particular sections 108 and 109 for procurement and must have a Procurement Policy, which sets out the rules for purchasing goods and services.

To comply with the Procurement Policy, purchases valued at more than $250,000 including GST for goods/services/works must go out for public tender.
