Gippy Battle – Pickleball Tournament
Register as an individual player and represent your nominated town in the inaugural Gippsland Inter-Town Pickleball Battle! Compete for regional bragging rights and the honour of having their town’s name engraved on the Gippy Battle perpetual shield.
This is a fun, competitive, and community-focused tournament bringing together players from across Gippsland for a full day of great matches, camaraderie, and local pride.

Registration includes a sandwich and a muffin. Please note there will be no reduction in the registration fee for participants who choose not to receive catering.
Minimum registration numbers are required for the event to proceed. Confirmation that the tournament will go ahead will be provided once registrations have closed and no later than Friday 8 May 2026.

GRISS Spring Indoor Pickleball Competition - “Kick off” 2026
Welcome to our upcoming Pickleball Competition! Whether you're a returning player or new to the game, all the key information you need is below.

Team Registration
Teams are placed into divisions based on:
- Previous competition results
- Player ability
- Number of registrations
- First in, best dressed! Spots are limited – register early to secure yours!
Player Insurance: All players not currently registered with Pickleball Australia or Pickleball Victoria must pay a $25 insurance fee before taking the court.

Fill-In Players
- Fill-in players pay $5 per game.
- A maximum of three fill-in games is allowed before the $25 registration is required.
- Previous fill-in fees do not count toward the $25.
Match Format
- Matches consist of two sets, played to 11 points (no two-point advantage)
- The team that wins the most sets is the match winner.
- Time limits apply:
- If Game 1 reaches 7.30pm, or
- If Game 2 reaches 9.15pm
- The match stops, and current scores stand.
Score Sheets
Ensure score sheets are accurately filled out, including any fill-in players. Winning team is responsible for returning the score sheet to reception after the match.
Match Balls - To Be Confirmed.
The confirmed balls will be the only balls permitted during the competition. Outdoor balls are not permitted - this to ensure consistency and fairness for all players.
Captains’ Responsibilities:
- Team captains must ensure all players have read the Terms & Conditions.

- Printed copies will be available at reception.
- By playing, all participants are considered to have accepted the terms.

All abilities walking basketball introduces adult participants to basketball with the opportunity to develop important coordination skills, motor skills and social skills.
To enhance the delivery of the tailored program, sessions are conducted in a fun, social and relaxed environment utilising different teaching methods to stimulate participants' learning processes.

This program provides optimal health benefits to all who participate including those who might be intimidated by the pace and impact of a traditional basketball game but love the slower more social version of Walking Basketball.
Active Adults Basketball is a program designed for participants 50+yrs to help maintain and improve health and decrease risk factors associated with sedentary behaviour.
What makes Walking Basketball stand out from most activities is that it doesn’t matter if you have never played the game of basketball before, or are handy on the court, as this will still be a level playing field for everyone.

- No grading games (due to shorter season)
- Teams randomly placed into POOLS
- Top teams from each pool will qualify for Finals
