Preschool Offer

You will receive an email offer at the end of August with further information and instructions. The offer will be sent to your email address, look for emails from fsadmin@latrobe.vic.gov.au

Preschool fees in 2019 are $275.00 per term. An administration fee of $30.60 is applicable in first term of attendance. You can choose to pay in full or in four instalments, or by Direct Debit. Fees are due 28 days from the statement/invoice. Payment methods are shown on your statement.

If you hold a current Health Care Card, Pension Card or Department Veteran Affairs Card, or identify as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander no fees are applicable. These cards must be current for the whole preschool year to get the subsidy. If your card expires during the year you must contact us to advise of new expiry date.

Priority of access

We support the Department of Education and Training (DET) policy direction that prioritises the inclusion of children with additional needs, children of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, asylum seeker and refugee families with an appropriate visa and children known to Child Protection. Families that demonstrate that they have a child in one of these categories will be allocated to a kindergarten program as a high priority

No Jab No Play

An Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register is the only documentation accepted by early childhood education and care services for the purposes of confirming a child’s enrolment in their service.

Documents produced by GPs or other immunisation providers cannot be acceptable as proof of immunisation.

From November, all parents will need to provide Immunisation History Statements to early childhood services at regular intervals – not only on enrolment. This will provide additional prompts to ensure their child’s immunisation is up-to-date for their age.
