The redevelopment at W.H Corrigan (Monash) Reserve will provide the users of the facility with a new modern multi-use pavilion accompanied by 10 newly re-constructed courts with state of the art LED technology lighting.
The project will provide the user groups and the community with the necessary infrastructure to participate in their respective sports regardless of age, gender or abilities.
Additional programming opportunities and greater activation of facilities which will assist in improving the health and well-being of the community as part of the new project.
In addition, local contractors LANGDEN Constructions and Ace Earthmoving have been awarded the contract for the pavilion and court construction. The use of local contractors and sub-contractors will provide a benefit to the local regional economy and community through local employment.
The facility will be well activated by the Moe & District Netball Association, Newborough Tennis Club and Adrenalin Paintball Club, with an expected number of around 900 participants to use the facility annually.
