As per the advice of Federal and State governments urging people to stay home, Latrobe City Council will close Lake Narracan Caravan Park as of 6pm 25 March 2020, until further notice.

Caravan owners and second home owners are asked to stay at their main homes to not add pressure to rural services. This decision comes after crowds headed to tourist hotspots in the past few weeks, despite advice against non-essential travel.

The temporary closure of the Lake Narracan Caravan Park will be in place until further notice, at which time the operations will be reviewed in line with the advice provided from the Federal and State government and health agencies.

In line with the Victorian Government's easing of restrictions, Latrobe City Council is pleased to advise that the LAKE NARRACAN waterway and boat ramp will open from Wednesday 13 May.

Outdoor Recreation including boating and fishing are permitted as of Midnight tonight with social distancing rules still needing to be adhered too, along with maximum group sizes of 10 people outdoors.
