Latrobe City Council is committed to the safety and maintaining the health of our vulnerable community members.
During this time, services will be limited to:
- Meals on Wheels
- Personal Care
- Unaccompanied Shopping
- Urgent installation of rails
- Garden maintenance
- Respite care
The following program clients will continue to receive contact from our friendly staff
- Carers Program and Planned Activity Groups
Please be aware that during this time the following service has been suspended to all but at risk clients:-

Latrobe City Council has commenced communicating these changes directly with clients and also through social media for extended family members.
If any clients or family members of clients would like to discuss additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact 1300 367 700.
Latrobe City Council also has a home library service which can be accessed by contacting 1300 360 700.
Meals on Wheels
If you are currently experiencing difficulties with meal preparation or need assistance with shopping please follow the below steps:
People aged over 65
(or over 50 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander)
Contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or via www.myagedcare.gov.au who will arrange a hot 3 course meal to be delivered to your home through our Meals on Wheels Program or organise a support worker to assist you with shopping.
Younger people aged under 65
(or under 50 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) who are deemed not eligible for service under the National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS or people that have Chronic disease, under Palliative care or are a Cancer patient
