Employment and Industry Survey 2010

Latrobe City Council has recently undertaken the 2010 Latrobe City Council Employment and Industry Survey. The survey aimed to find out about local industry and employment conditions. Surveys were sent to businesses throughout Latrobe City with 565 businesses volunteering to participate in the study.

The survey results highlight a number of trends and issues impacting on doing business within the municipality. Businesses have reported positive expectations for sales growth in 2009/10 across most industries, and capital investment is being planned by local businesses, with 20% reporting investment intentions within two years with up to $500,000 the most frequently mentioned investment size.
