Latrobe Regional Airport Development

Latrobe Regional Airport is open for business!

Latrobe Regional Airport is in the process of developing serviced land for aviation related businesses.

Land is ready for new business now, and we are in the process of opening up a Commercial-Industrial precinct with a total of 40 serviced allotments with taxiway access to the main runway. These lots can be tailored in size to suit the requirements of prospective clients.

This development is a natural expansion of an already vibrant base of which GippsAero (manufacturers of the GA8 Airvan and Turbo Airvan) is the corner stone.

The Latrobe Regional Airport Board is dedicated in the pursuit of commercial development and to create jobs on the airport.   This will enable greater utilisation of the excellent facilities and infrastructure already in place. This is part of a Master Plan which will see additional private hangar space become available, and a residential airpark, with direct access from home to runways, is planned for the future.

Latrobe Regional Airport is situated in the Latrobe Valley Victoria, 150 km from Melbourne by freeway, or 40 minutes flying time to Essendon/Tullamarine.
