Waste Management Strategy

The Latrobe City Council Waste Management Strategy (2010-2017) defines the current waste management practices and provides a framework for Latrobe City Council's future direction and practice over the next seven years, with the objective to guide the development and improvement of waste management.

The strategy acknowledges the changing direction of waste management towards alternative waste technologies, and the need to investigate options moving away from landfill.

Latrobe City Council is a member of the Gippsland Regional Waste Management Group.
