Community Pick Up Services

There are many charitable and other organisations that offer a FREE pick- up service for good quality but unwanted items such as furniture, clean clothing in good condition, shoes, toys, crockery, kitchen utensils, CD’s bric-a-brac and books.

Phone any of the organisations below to check whether they can use what you have and to arrange collection. Please do not give them ‘junk’ which then becomes a costly problem for them to dispose of.

Other organisations that can accept unwanted second-hand goods are listed under 'Recycled Clothing' in the Yellow Pages.

Also listed in the Yellow Pages are businesses that will collect unwanted whitegoods such as fridges and washing machines at little or no cost. Look under 'Scrap Metal Merchants'.
