Cultural and Linguistic Diversity

Latrobe City has a strong commitment to building an inclusive community.  A harmonious community that acknowledges the assets of diversity, engages and communicates with its citizens, and nurtures its neighbourhoods.  the Latrobe City Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Action Plan outlines a strategic approach that provides a commitment to continuous improvement for local needs.  It is important that culturally and linguistically diverse members of the community have access to culturally relevant and sensitive services provided by Latrobe City in accordance with the Charter of Public Service in a Diverse Society.

The key purpose of the Action Plan is to ensure Latrobe City services, information and facilities are inclusive of people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
