Planned Activity Group (PAG)

This service aims to assist the frail aged, people with a disability or socially isolated citizens by providing a day in a supportive atmosphere where they may join together with other citizens for socialising and recreation.

Planned Activity Groups (PAG - formerly ADASS) run six days a week in Traralgon in the Parklane and Queens Parade Centres, as well as one day at Yallourn North.

The program operates in the Moe/Newborough, Morwell and Churchill areas under the auspice of the Latrobe Community Health Centres.

  • All workers and volunteers have had substantial training in dealing with the elderly and have an understanding of the issues related to clients and their carers
  • A hot two course meal is provided as well as morning and afternoon tea
  • Clients are picked up from and returned to their homes
  • Varied activities are conducted such as gentle exercise, bingo, crosswords
  • Regular outings are an option (eg. movies)
  • Cost is $8.60 per day
  • Men's group every 2nd Monday in Traralgon
