Southside Community Precinct Project

The Southside Community Precinct (SSCP) is a concept designed to incorporate the Ted Summerton Reserve, South Street Primary School and the new Moe Early Learning Centre.  The precinct will encourage the development of a vibrant recreation and education community precinct.

It is a very exciting project with many benefits for the Moe community.  We have developed a newsletter that is designed to keep key stakeholders and the community informed of exactly what is going on with the SSCP project and give all interested parties an opportunity to provide feedback or offer their ideas on this project.

Official Opening

Pictured above is Latrobe City Council Mayor Darrell White at the official opening of the Ted Summerton Reserve on 26 June 2011. Also pictured are students from South Street Primary School and Albert Street Primary School participating in a junior footy match to help celebrate the day.
