Franklin Street Bridge Replacement

Latrobe City Council intends to replace the current low level Franklin St bridge with a two-span reinforced concrete bridge during the first half of 2012.

To achieve this replacement, it will be necessary to close Franklin Street between Davidson Street and Gordon Street to all traffic for a period of six months from 12 March 2012.

While the pedestrians will be able to use the footbridges at Church Street and Wright Street, all vehicles should preferably travel via the signalised intersection at the Princes Highway and Park Lane.
