How to Use the Library catalogue

You can use the library catalogue to

• search and find the items you want to read
• place holds on the items that you want to read which will allow you to pick them up when available from your local library
• see which items you've borrowed and what date you need to return them
• renew the items that you have on loan for an extra timeframe - usually 3 weeks for books, talking books and magazines, 1 week for DVDs, CDs and Videos
• write a review and share your thoughts on your favourite or your least favourite books.

You will need to use your Library card number and PIN to log onto the catalogue. If you haven't gor a PIN for your library card, next time you are in one of the Libraries, ask library staff. Your PIN needs to be a minimum of four digits and a number that you will remember.
