Wherever you live in the Latrobe City, there is a public library near you - for you - at Moe, Morwell, Traralgon and Churchill. Our libraries offer something for everyone looking for quality library service.                                                                                                                                                                                                            .

 The library is the place to borrow books, CDs, videos, and magazines; find information for your business, school project, and hobbies; read newspapers both old and new; surf the internet; research family history or join in preschool storytime.   

Leigh Hobbs is coming...

Leigh Hobbs is a critically acclaimed children's author and illustrator, as well as a successful painter, scultor and cartoonist. He is best known forr the children’s books he has created featuring his characters OLD TOM, HORRIBLE HARRIET, FIONA THE PIG and MR CHICKEN.

At 4pm on Wednesday 28 October at Traralgon Library. Leigh will present a children's workshop including a drawing session and a talk. Children need to be at least seven years or older to attend. Bookings are essential.

At 6-7pm, Leigh will talk to parents, children and educators about his life and work. This will be followed by a light supper..

After both presentations Leigh’s books will be sold. Bookings for both events can be made by phoning 5176 3630.

Your Tutor - available again with the new school term

Online tutors are standing by to assist school students with their homework or assignment questions.this service is available for students from Year 4 to Year 12. The service covers Math, Science and English as well as Physics, Biology and Chemistry for Year 11-12 students
