2013 - 2017 Events Strategy and Action Plan

Latrobe City Council is developing a 5 year Events Strategy and Action Plan which aims to facilitate the continued growth and sustainability of events in Latrobe City. Organisations and individuals are invited to provide input into the Plan by completing the survey.

Traralgon Growth Areas Review

The Traralgon Growth Areas Review (TGAR) is intended to provide a growth strategy that identifies areas for future urban development (i.e. housing, retail, commercial and industrial) around Traralgon, Traralgon- Morwell Corridor, Glengarry and Tyers up to the year 2051.

The impetus for this project is in response to the previous State Government’s decision to adopt W1C (northern most alignment) and E2D (eastern alignment) as the preferred alignment for the future Princes Highway – Traralgon Bypass. This decision has removed approximately 500 hectares from a future urban growth corridor that was planned by the Latrobe City Council to accommodate the City’s urban growth into the future. The draft documents can be viewed at Traralgon Growth Areas Review.

Have you been part of Youth Council or Youth Leadership Programs? We would like to hear from you!

Latrobe City Council is considering establishing a formal network such as an Alumni Group, for people who have been participants in youth council or youth leadership programs. The group will enable you re-connect with participants who share similar interests, enable professional development and career opportunities and you stay in touch with Latrobe City and the wider community. Take the survey.
