Six Steps to Business Success will commence 18 April and will be held one day a week over a six week period. The program is aimed at people that have recently started or are planning on starting a business. Taking place at Latrobe City Council Headquarters, the program will teach participants how to build the foundations of a successful business. With a maximum of 15 participants the program provides an opportunity to develop your network and give your business the best opportunity starting out.

Grow Your Business Together

Coming up in April and May there will be business breakfast events taking place in Traralgon, Morwell and Moe. The events will cover topics including the value of a combined business voice, how a strong network can boost individual and shared success, and the benefits of being a member of local business groups. The guest speaker will be Kate Carnell, Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman and Judy O’Connell, Victorian Small Business Commissioner. After the Traralgon and Morwell breakfast events there will also be a pop-up information centre held with local, state and federal government agencies and small business mentors. Topics covered will include reducing energy bills, employing new staff, and resolving business disputes.
