What is planning

The Latrobe Planning Scheme regulates the use and development of land within Latrobe City.  The Planning Scheme specifies what types of use and/or development require a planning permit.

All applications currently being advertised for public comment are available for viewing only at the service centre nearest to the subject land.  Latrobe City Council has service centres at the following locations. Simply read the public notice (either the sign on the site or the notice you received in the mail) and it will tell you where you can review the application.

Other approvals

Planning permits allow you to use or develop land. It is important to remember it is highly likely you will need other approvals, such as a Building permit before you commence any work.
