Have Your Say on Strength Led Transition

Type: Public NoticeAnnouncement

Since the development and adoption of the original Strength-Led Transition Plan in November 2016, Council and the community have worked to review successes to date and update the content.

Strength Led Transition 2.0 is designed to reflect the desires, hopes, ideas and aspirations of Council, and our community, for the future.

The new draft includes a range of strategic, Council, industry and community priorities including

  • Wellness
  • Transport Connections
  • Building economic resilience
  • Liveability
  • Economic growth
  • Community based initiative

These priorities have been identified as investment opportunities and catalysts for action.

Some of these will be led by Council, but importantly many will be led by the community, industry and business, State and Federal Governments as well as the not-for-profit sector.

We invite everyone with an interest in the future of Latrobe City to review the draft document on our website or source a copy from Council’s service centres in Traralgon, Morwell, Moe or Churchill.
