At the end of August, Latrobe City Council will be undertaking a tender process to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Architectural Consultants Team to undertake the design and detailed documentation of the Latrobe Creative Precinct Project in Traralgon, Latrobe Valley.

Applicants must demonstrate experience and success in designing, building, managing and delivering projects of similar scale and complexity, with particular experience in performing arts centre design.

Experience in undertaking projects utilising Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) construction tenders as well as previous experience working with local government is desirable.

Project budget $30M.

  • A significant regional performing arts centre housing a multipurpose auditorium of 750 seats and studio of 200 seats with associated front of house and back of house facilities and services

  • Repurposing and remodelling of the existing Latrobe Performing Arts Centre building, to facilitate cultural industry training and educational courses
