‘Experimenta Make Sense’ is an exhibition that engages with the disconcerting and delightful world of the digital age. Both playful and challenging, Latrobe Regional Gallery invites audiences to immerse their senses into a ‘thinking’, ‘feeling’ and ‘doing’ contemplation of what it is to be human in the digital age of technological acceleration.

Virtual reality, interactive balloon artworks and an evolving drawing project offer kids, teens and adults an engaging experience using uncommon mediums to explore their creative thinking. The interactive artworks are child friendly and offer a perfect weekend activity for families with free masterclasses and workshops available.

‘Experimenta Make Sense: International Triennial of Media Art’ runs until 14 July 2019 and is free to the public

The free celebration event for this exhibition will occur at the gallery on Friday 10 May 2019 from 6pm to 8pm. RSVPs are encouraged to 03 5128 5700 or lrg@latrobe.vic.gov.au.
