Whether it’s sharing a meal, cooking a sausage sizzle or fundraising at a local event, food plays an integral part of community group activities.

Join us for this free interactive workshop to better understand your group’s responsibilities in keeping food safe in our community.

This workshop will cover:
• Legislative responsibilities of community groups
• Basic food handling and monitoring essentials
• Department of Health & Human Services Registration System - Streatrader
• Volunteer food handlers requirements

* Please note this is not a certified course.  Information about local Training opportunities to complete the Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety Certificate will be made available at the sessions.

The workshop will be delivered by Robyn Duffy from Latrobe City Council’s Health Services Team.

When: Thursday 26 July 2018
Time: 1.30 pm – 3.00 pm OR 6.00 pm – 7.30 pm
