Proposed road discontinuance Catterick Lane Traralgon

Latrobe City Council pursuant to Section 206 and Schedule 10 Clause 3 of the Local Government Act 1989 gives notice of its intention to consider a proposal to discontinue part of Catterick Lane Traralgon, for sale by private treaty to the adjoining owners.

The section of Catterick Lane proposed to be discontinued connects Bernard Avenue and Washington Street, adjoining 11 & 13 Bernard Avenue and 38 & 40 Washington Street.  The land is described as part of the Road Reserve created on LP20160 in 1950, contained in Certificate of Title Volume 7239 Folio 603.

Council invites public comment concerning this proposal. Written submissions, addressed to Mr Paul Buckley PSM, Chief Executive Officer, Latrobe City Council, PO Box 264, Morwell 3840 should be received by Friday 11 January 2013 and state if the person or a person acting on their behalf wishes to speak in support of the submission.

Written submissions will be considered by Council in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 at the Ordinary Council.
