The Indigenous population of Latrobe City at the time of the 2001 Indigenous Census was 732 persons with a median age of 20 years and an average household size of 3.2 persons.

AGE STRUCTURE

A high proportion of the Indigenous population is in the 0-19 age bracket. Just 1.6% of the population is in the 65+ age bracket compared with 9.4% for the total Latrobe City population.

HOUSEHOLD INCOME

The average weekly household income for the Indigenous Population at the time of the 2001 Census was $500-599.
