Commencing on the north-western boundary of the City at the Moe-Rawson Road; thence south-easterly by the Moe-Rawson Road to Old Sale Road; thence easterly by that road to Thompsons Road; thence easterly by that road to Sullivans Track; thence southerly by that track to John Field Drive; thence south-easterly by that drive to De Campo Drive; thence southerly by that drive and Haunted Hills Road to the Princes Freeway; thence south-easterly by that freeway to Princes Drive; thence easterly by that drive to Churchill Road; thence westerly by that road to Brisbane Street; thence north-easterly by that street and north-westerly and westerly by Alamein Street to Tobruk Street; thence northerly by that street and westerly by Barry Street to Vincent Road; thence northerly by that road to Hourigan Road; thence westerly by that road to the Morwell-Maryvale Road; thence northerly and easterly by that road further easterly by Maryvale Road to Old Melbourne Road; thence easterly by that road to the road forming the eastern boundary of allotment 25, Parish of Maryvale; thence northerly and north-westerly by that road to the southern boundary of allotment 29A; thence easterly by that boundary, northerly by the eastern boundary of that allotment and a line in continuation to the La Trobe River; thence north-westerly by that river to the Tyers River; thence northerly by that river to the north-western boundary of the Shire, and thence generally westerly and south-westerly by the shire boundary to the point of commencement.
